Jan Vanek / 1891 - 1962 / - friend of Adolf Loos, Bruno Paul and Le Corbusier. Director of UP zavody in Brno and owner of S.B.S. which manufactured furniture designed by Mies van der Rohe specially for Tugendhat Villa in Brno. Between 1925 - 1934 led the magazine Bytova kultura.
