In offering and marketing design furniture from the 1930s, we strive to preserve authenticity and avoid interventions that violate the integrity of each single object put up for sale. Where restauration is needed, we do the maximum to limit ourselves to techniques compatible with period materials and technology. In most cases, our furniture is left in its original state; while professionally cleaned, it preserves the original patina. In cases in which partial or even full restauration is appropriate, we consult period furniture catalogues as well as literature providing information about the composition of original materials, including paint and laquer, to achieve the original shades. Chrome plating, if not substantially damaged, is left in its original state, but has been polished. Should the customer wish so, new chroming can be supplied by specialists. We strive to keep our eye on details, minding each object’s individuality and the necessity for individual approach. All this has become possible owig to a unique team of specialists whose work philosophy is anchored in professionalism and respect for the object.
Our program also features original Czech design of the 1950s-1970s by
Jaroslav Ježek - Miroslav Navrátil - Ladislav Vrátník - Antonín Šuman - Zdeněk Plesník - Jindřich Marek
