HARLIS EDELHARD
1928 - 1985
Eddie Harlis, born in 1928 in Osnabrück, will focus on the shapes and design from his schooling.
After World War II, then a period of captivity, he trained as a cabinetmaker before pursuing studies at the School of Arts and Crafts Art Hildesheim.
In 1953, he worked as a designer and freelance designer.
For Thonet, he created a series of products.
Other customers follow, including COR, Kaufeld, Profilia and WK.
As an interior architect, he will know the particular decoration of bars, restaurants and cafes and shop fitting.
