She has cooperated with Otti Berger from the Bauhaus in Dessau. Under her influence began to use artificial fibers. She designed household linen and upholstery with simple geometric patterns that were used in the functionalist interiors.
From 1927-1929 she was the Artěl director. She has collaborated with Devětsil.
In the years 1926-1948 she owned the textile studio together with Bozena Pošepná in Prague at the Charles Square.
After 1948, she worked at the Centre for Folk and Art Manufacture (ÚLUV).
