MACHON LADISLAV
1888 - 1973
A significant Czech architect, representative of the Czech functionalist architecture and design.
He studied at the Czech Technical University in prof. Josef Schulz and Josef Fanta. Since 1909 in the studio of Jan Kotera. From 1917 to 1948 he owned a private architectural studio.
His best-known projects: interiors of the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague, interiors of Klementinum in Prague and Machon´s passage in Pardubice with sculptor Otto Gutfreund. / Wikipedia /
